GOOGLE ADSENSE: Tips Adsense For Bloggers

GOOGLE ADSENSE: Tips Adsense For Bloggers. If you have joined the blogging revolution that is sweeping the net, and you think you might want to make a little revenue – or a lot of revenue – from your blogging efforts, you need AdSense tips for bloggers. Blogging has opened up an entirely new way of how non-technical people interact with the Internet, and now, anyone can publish anything about any topic – without having a website – and anyone can profit without even having a product!

Adsense for blogs make perfect sense. Google’s advertising programs are designed to work with sites related to the keywords for the ads that are being presented. Each time you add content to your blog, the Google spiders gobble it up. The more you update, the more the Google spider visits your page. Ultimately, you move up in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) for the topics that you write about. You see where this is going. The higher your search ranking, the more traffic you receive, which ultimately leads to higher revenue from AdSense ads.

The beauty of blogs is their potential for rapid growth. If you become known as an expert in your area of expertise, word of mouth spreads quickly and your blog can become very popular. So it is vital that you always teach something with every blog entry. You want your readers to come back frequently and they will if they know they will learn something. Not only will your readers bookmark your blog and return often, but they will link to your blog enthusiastically as well. People in forums will refer to your blogs and discuss what they learned. Websites will link to you as a valuable resource. In short, an informative blog can grow very quickly if the information it provides is valuable.

It is important to write about specific topics, and sprinkle your blog entries with specific keywords to get the best results – and the highest revenue – with your Google AdSense ads. There is a method to the madness. Start your revenue generating blog by testing the waters.

Decide what area you would like to write about and then do some keyword research. Research is easy if you use Google’s keyword tools found at https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordSandbox . The keyword tools are located in your Google AdWords account. Yes, you need a free AdWords account to be successful but you don’t have to fund it to use the keyword tools. Look for keywords related to your subject that are high paying. These are keywords where the bid amounts are high. Make a list of the top paying keywords, and use that list to determine what topics you will write about.

Remember, you want people to visit your blog time and time again, and build up a readership, make sure that your blog is well written and informative. Don’t just target keywords for the sake of targeting keywords – the writing needs to make sense! Writing valuable content is the first step to generating traffic to your blog, and traffic is needed to profit from AdSense ads!

You are allowed to use the AdSense ad units in two different places on each page. You can accomplish this in a couple of different ways. First, you can add the AdSense ad code to the template for your blog. This is done through the control panel for your blog, and some knowledge of HTML is needed. The other option is to paste the AdSense code directly in your blog post each time you submit a new post. You can use it once at the top and once at the bottom, or once after a few paragraphs of the post, and again after a few more paragraphs.

Get that code in there however you see fit – but then pay close attention to the results so you can see what is working and what isn’t. Tracking is everything if you want to make real money!

Of course, you need to advertise your blog as much as possible as well. Make sure that you provide Trackbacks to other people’s blogs as often as possible, and that you visit blogs, leave comments – and leave a link for your blog as well!

MAKING MONEY FORM ADSENSE: How To Make $300 A Day With Adsense | New Shocking Adsense Tips

MAKING MONEY FORM ADSENSE: How To Make $300 A Day With Adsense | New Shocking Adsense Tips. For a few years I've been playing with Adsense. I first got interested when people were making hundreds of thousands of dollars and I wanted in. But by the time I got going, most of those sites were soon worthless with Google's new rules in place. This totally put the end to my dreams of financial freedom, or so I thought.

We come to the present time. And if you're reading this, then you are another statistic that is struggling with Adsense. But don't worry because you will benefit from the following tips, one of many, that will have you earning more than just cents with Adsense.

Tips to make $300 a day with Adsense

If you weren't already familiar with some of the other AdSense tips out there, let me repeat a few for you;

- Visitor traffic
- Relevant Adsense Ads
- Webpage analytics
- Best sizes and positions of AdSense Ads

But one of the biggest secrets, of Adsense, is being over looked today. Build quality content and Adsense will take care of itself. Yes it's that simple. Content is king. You've probably heard it 1000 times before. The reason you've heard it so many times is because everybody thinks they can just whip up a garbage page and people will flock to your site and make you money. For starters, if your visitors come to your page, click-click-bang gone in less than 20 seconds, those clicks won't count as Google will deem those clicks to be invalid. Another reason to have quality content is the search engines will favor you and you will get more organic search engine traffic. As webpage techniques become more advanced, so do the search engines. And unfortunately these automatic page makers just aren't cutting it any more. The newer algorithms are almost as good as a human viewer, and sometimes better.

It is extremely important to follow my AdSense Tips to ensure that your site will be earning its maximum potential. Otherwise you will continue to follow the rest of the pack who are making cents with Adsense.

Shocking Adsense Update: You will be blown away by these tips!

Are you looking for a shocking Adsense update?

I know what you’re feeling. I created my account back in 2006 and literally made cents with Adsense.

But, I have a secret for you. And it goes like this:

Adsense is not dead!

In fact – 99% of the people who are making big bucks with Adsense are keeping the secrets for themselves. And the 1% that are willing to share, the people listening aren’t believing it because society has conditioned them to believe that Adsense is dead.

This is fantasic news for you and I since we want to actually make money with Adsense. We can use this fact to our advantage.

Think about your Adsense account for a moment. After looking at the dollar amount when you log in, you probably look at how many people have clicked. But no matter what you have done, keeping in line with Google Adsense TOS, people just aren’t clicking, am I correct?

But we both know that trying to cheat Adsense will only lead in to your account being banned, deleted, and possibly the remaining funds being frozen forever.

Instead, let’s look at a powerful secret to get those Adsense clicks.

What is this secret? It is…

Advertisement Image Retracement

Simply, advertisement image retracement involves changing your visitor’s perception and almost forcing them to click advertisements. Let’s look at some a couple of rules:

1. Keep your page fairly simple. Having 1000 things all over the place is only going to confuse your visitor and they will start clicking on everything bur your adsense.
2. Have some decent content that is useful to your visitors. You need them to stay on your page as long as possible which will increase the chance of them clicking. Also, if they spend too short of time on your site their clicks may not count to your credit.

WARNING: If you don’t follow the above rules you don’t have a chance with Adsense.

GREAT TIPS: SEO For Adsense

SEO for adsense. If you've been using Google's AdSense on your pages you obviously feel the need to somehow generate even more traffic for your website, which in turn would translate to more AdSense click and a higher income.

But who do you do this? Well, the major way you'll get visitors to see your website (other then using AdWords, which is encouraged as well) is to use some techniques to have search engines send more and more users towards your page, by ranking high in search results for your topics of interest.

Believe it or not this is a technique, better known as search-engine optimization or simply SEO. So here are a bunch of tips that come handy under every amateur or professional optimizer's belt.

The first thing you need to take care of is the actual source code and layout of your page. This has to be kept as simple as possible. The problem comes when AdSense and the search engines themselves begin to have troubles in extracting the most relevant keywords on your site because of a too complex layout.

Secondly, try to have each one of your pages target only one specific topic. This way it is a lot easier for them to get indexed properly and for the AdSense ads to be consistent with the content of the site itself.

Also, try not to include too many hyperlinks in your page as well. This also means you should try not to use too many AdSense ads on your page either.

If there are certain keywords you wish to target, make sure the word you wish to target is present in the title, in the first paragraphs as well as in the name of the file. While you're at it you might want to ensure the word springs up in the page's last paragraphs.

And of course, it's very important for your content to have original and compelling content. How do you do this? Well the easiest way to do it is to find something you're really passionate about. That way, providing you give it a lot of effort you're bound to have a great page quite fast.

If the content you use in your site is in the public domain (which is highly discouraged) make sure that you at least give it an original title, and add an opening and a closing paragraph of your own.

This takes a little while, but if, after waiting, you still can't find your page near the top, you should try rewriting your title and your first and last paragraphs. It doesn't take much, often just changing a few words will give you the right results.

And of, course there's the use of keyword tools that may aid you in finding some good keywords to include on your page that will drive visitors to your site more and more.

So those are about the basic techniques in search engine optimization. You can find a lot of computer tools to aid you in doing this, and of course, Google is a great place to search for this.

In the end, you'll find that SEO is a complex topic, and entire books have been written on the topic as well. You might find that you have a lot of optimization you need to do in order to get more and more visitors to your site and clicking those precious AdSense banners.

Discovering the Adsense Secret - Five Points to Help You Succeed

Part of making the most of your AdSense account is understanding some of the important points that can either lead you to success or cause the total failure of your efforts. Obviously, you want more of the former and less of the latter. Here are points towards the AdSense secret.

Topics to Avoid

Many people don’t realize that Google will not allow their AdSense advertisements to appear on certain sites. Those sites will deal with certain topics, such as gambling and prescription drugs. Guns, some types of weapons, and tobacco topics are also not allowed to host the ads. That means a good AdSense secret is to avoid these topics when you’re preparing your web site. Although these topics might be popular for searches, you don’t want these sites associated with the ones in which you are going to be hosting the ads.

Check the Ads

Another AdSense secret is that you need to check the ads that are listed on your pages. While the program normally makes good matches, sometimes there are problems. In most cases, those problems have nothing to do with Google and everything to do with something that needs to be changed on the page. For example, you may not have optimized the page for the proper keywords. The nice thing is that you can always contact Google if there’s a problem and they can offer you some guidance in making the necessary changes.

Block Some Ads

Here’s an AdSense secret you also may not have known: you have the ability to block some ads from appearing on your site even if they include the keywords your page is optimized for. Why would you want some ads not to appear? Well, there are a couple of reasons. First, there are going to be some ads that are nothing but scams. If you care about the quality of the ads you are presenting to your visitors (and you should be), then you don’t want to include those unethical sites.

Another one of those issues is that if you are selling products or services on your site as well as earning revenue through the ad, you don’t want to be hosting sites which are from your competitors. Blocking them makes this AdSense secret quite valuable.

Use AdSense Tracker

In order to make the most of your AdSense account, you want to also make the most of another AdSense secret. The AdSense tracker is a great way for you to determine which of your pages are bringing in the most revenue and which ones are the most successful overall. This information will be very helpful as you continue your efforts and continue improving your ability to post ads.

Do Keyword Research

A final AdSense secret that you want to know is keyword research. This is a step in the process you don’t want to take too lightly. Remember using the proper keywords will lead targeted traffic to your site.

Profit from Adsense with Adwords

Here's a feisty trick where you can profit from Adsense with the use of Adwords. First you need to find a high paying keyword. It is better if the keyword you will find is worth more than $20 so you're EPC(Earnings per click) would average anywhere from 1$ to 10$. This is just a guess because Google doesn't disclose its revenue share with website owners but many claim its 50%.

Now that you found your keyword, create a page for it. Make sure that you research about that keyword so you could create a page with good content. Put your google adsense code in it.

Now that you have a webpage with ads worth 1-10 dollars per click all you need are people to click on it. This is where Adwords comes in the picture.

Apply for an Adwords account. Create your ads for your new webpage. Here's the most important part, pick as many keywords that are relevant to your new site as possible (maximum of 10,000 keywords) then just bid for the lowest possible ($0.05). You could also used mispelled words. For example if your site is about satellite tv, use keywords like "satelite tv"or "sattelite tv". You could also use other languages for that word. Research on the internet on how to write your keywords in different languages.

Now I think things are getting clearer to you, if not well lets look at the ratio of the above-mentioned procedure: you would pay $ .05 for every visitor so, 100 visitors equals 1 dollar. If one out of those twenty visitors clicked on one adsense ads on your website then you will earn anywhere from 1 to 10 dollars. That means you would only need a CTR (Click-through Rate) of 1% to .1% to get even. Suppose you generate 1,000 visitors a day from adwords and you have a click through rate of 3% with an average of 5$ EPC. You would spend $0.05 X 1000 = $50 on adwords and earn 3% X 1000 X $5 = $150 from adsense. You would earn $100 a day in these scenario or $3000 a month.

The example above is still very modest. There are many variables in the scenario you could improve to increase your earnings more:

EPC (Earnings per click) could be improved if you would filter low paying ads in your adsense account.

You could increase visitors you generate from adwords by increasing the number of keywords you would bid. There are a maximum of 10,000, I suggest you use all.

CTR (Click-Through Rate) could also be improved by placing your ads in the best position in your webpage. Also filter unrelevant ads in your adsense account to increase CTR.

Adsense Tips For Greater Online Profits

The Google adsense program can offer a great way to add income from your website without having to sell any products or services. Most websites could profit well from adsense as long as they know how to effectively increase click through rates without diminishing the user experience by showing too many ads. Here are some tips that can help to increase click through rates and revenues from adsense:

Tip 1: Place adsense ads above the fold

Do not get too shy to place ads at the top of your site which visitors first see when they enter your site without having to scroll down. Simply place an adsense unit like a banner sized one in the center of the page. Avoid the very top as most people tend to skip that part and do not focus on that area too much.

Tip 2: Create a good quality site

Advertisers can now choose which sites they want their ads on so if you create a great site you are more likely to attract higher paying advertisers so you may receive more money per click. Make sure your site is unique and up to date as this will also attract return visitors which can really make a difference since you do not have to constantly get new visitors.

Tip 3: Put ads embedded into your content

If you have good length articles over 500 words then consider adding ad units like the 336x280 ad units directly into the content by using tables to wrap the content around the ads. This will help to increase click through rates since more people will see the ads.

Tip 4: Use colors appropriately

Try to make your ads blend in as much as you can with the rest of your site. Make the link colors match the main links on your site. If you can stick with the regular blue link color for the links on your site since that is what most people recognize as the standard link color.

Tip 5: Use more ads if you can

If there is enough content on the page do not be afraid to add more ads. The adsense program permits 3 ad units and 2 link units per page however make sure that your content is not squeezed too much, always keep the visitor experience in mind first otherwise people will simply hit the back button and not even read your content never mind click any of the ads.

Tip 6: Get rid of borders

Borders around your adsense ads make them appear more like ads and do not help to blend them in with the rest of your site. Remove the borders so the ads look more like a part of your site and this should help to increase click through rates.

Tip 7: Track your ads

Be sure to take advantage of tracking features in your adsense account so you know how well certain ads are doing. Experience is often the best teacher so try different approaches and stick with the ones that work and learn from your mistakes. Try some of these adsense tips to help you earn more money from your website.

Nice Tips: Top Adsense Tips And Strategies

Google Adsense has made a huge impact on internet advertising and it is not short of being a revolution. The fact that more and more people are using Adsense today is the proof of its success. It is a concept that can provide businesses, small and large with a good ROI and generate targeted traffic by creating a high visibility over the internet.

You should start applying Adsense if you have been losing money instead of gaining in any kind of affiliate programs. Google through its Adsense service is providing high quality and relevant ads, which match up to the content on your website. To add to this is the search engine, which will take care of most of the searching. Another salient point is that you will not have to spend too much time choosing various types of ads for your website pages. Google's Adsense process makes it easy for you because it doesn't involve codes like it is the case for several affiliate programs.

Adsense Tips

AdSense is something on the lines of a set and forget arrangement thanks to the state-of-the-art technology used by Google. Here are some strategic tips of what to do with Google Adsense and what not to do with it.

1. While working on Adsense, you should try and avoid default settings, instead work towards customizing your ads.

2. When you are writing the content, think about your reader and then target your content through Adsense.

3. One mistake that most businesses or people make is looking at AdSense as a competitor; instead you should look at it as a partner that is going to help generate revenue for your business and create visibility over the internet, and in fact provide you with a winning edge over your actual competitors.

4. You need to position the ads correctly. This is highly important if you want to profit you're your Adsense campaign. You need to place your ads where you feel there is a higher probability for people to see it.

5. With Google, you can place three instances of AdSense code per page. You should use this to your advantage but remember you need to also bring a variety to the implementation.

6. If you have implemented the code on your Adsense ads then refrain yourself from clicking on the ad. Note: Google is extremely sensitive to click fraud.

7. One of the things that many people try is game the system. Google is aware of most of the things or tricks that people apply and is notorious for pursuing people caught doing a click fraud.

Here is a list of Don'ts:

1. Don't try to implement your AdSense code in a palce where people won't be able to see it.

2. There are many people who try to offer incentive to visitors so that they click on the AdSense ads. This is a no-no!

3. Never beg people to click on your ad

4. Never place your AdSense ads on empty pages.

Making money from the Rates

The Google Adsense ads can be easily customized, which is one of the reasons for its popularity. They can also be placed anywhere on your web page but it is always advisable to place them where people will be able to see them and click on them. You can always experiment a little with themes & colors and of course the placement but you should never go overboard. Too much of experimentation can kill the main purpose.

But before you can start with Google Adsense, you need to be aware of the rates, which can vary. Your Adsense strategy should revolve ideally around the rates because you will receive your payments per click and it will all depend on how much you are willing to pay per click to place an advertisement using AdWords. The minimum that advertisers pay is around 5 cents and it can go to as much as $10, and even more. For example: lawyers are paying around $75 for using the keyword mesothelioma.

How to Attract More Traffic to Your Blog With Blog Graphics

adsense tips
If you are looking for free ways to promote your website, blogging is one that is hard to beat.

A blog post does not have to be very long, so there is no reason why a disciplined blogger cannot post fresh content at least once a day.

But beware of turning your blog into something like Hamlet's book, all "Word, words, words" and no pictures!

A wordy blog with no pictures can be a big turn off, so, make it more appealing on the eye by including a photo or illustration or two in some of your posts.

So what sort of graphics can Internet marketers use on their blogs to enhance their appeal?

If you want to talk about an affiliate product, upload a graphic from the product sales page. Check the affiliate resources page of the product you are promoting for suitable graphics that you can use.

"Product in a box" images are good for focusing attention. If your product does not come with one of those, a banner ad will be fine.

Add a photo of the book cover when you post a book review on your blog. The impact of a book review would also be improved if you can upload a photograph of the author.

If you want to post a review or recommendation of a website, ask the owner if you can use the website logo. Failing that, if the website is in the top 100,000 on Alexa.com, you could post an Alexa traffic graph.

If you are talking about a "widget", add either the widget itself, or a screen shot of the widget to your post.

When you post an image, hyperlink it to the site in question.

If you want to write a series of blog posts, find an arresting photo that you can use at the head of every post to strengthen the message that they are each a part of a sequence of related posts.

You can either use your own photos or search on Google for images that come with publishing rights, such as those published under a Creative Commons licence, or available on Flickr.com.

It will be all the better if you can find an off the wall photo to use as a metaphor for your main topic. You can make the tenuous connection between the image and the message stronger by adding a witty caption.

Each time you upload an image you can use the ALT tag to write a keyword rich title for SEO purposes.

Even if you are unable to get hold of a suitable pic you should still go ahead and write a blog post. Your main aim is to keep your blog updated on a daily basis with fresh, engaging, and relevant content. A blog post that is bereft of images is nevertheless better than no blog post at all! It is just that images speak a language of their own and enhance the character of your blog.

Posting graphics alongside your text is a great way to attract more traffic and also boost the numbers that return to your blog although your writing will also have to be worth reading!

7 Tips and Tricks to Increase Your Adsense Earnings Guaranteed

Find out how to deal with a few little tricks to increase your AdSense revenue dramatically ...

The First tip: - Tip #1

Use the proper framework for AdSense. Google AdSense offers you the ability to change the appearance of your AdSense display. It has been shown that AdSense without a framework bring more clicks than AdSense with a frame. Internet users have developed enough savvy to recognizes advertisements on a site immediately.

Once you have a framework for your AdSense ads it "triggers" the users to avoid clicking on the ad.

More often than not, this flags the user to simply ignore it!

An AdSense ad on your website, which has framework results in the visitors doing nothing more than ignoring your banner.

Avoid anything immediately recognized as a advertising. This is particularly true for the when there is a frame outside your text link AdSense ads. Define your settings in the configuration of the AdSense simply the border color with the same color as your site background. Thus, for example: Home White background = white AdSense framework.

The Second - Tip #2

Setting the text color and the color of the hyperlink AdSense ads The case is similar with the color of the text and the link color. If you do not want your AdSense ads to be immediately recognized by visitors. You must define the text color as well as the hyperlink color, just as your home page text and links on the homepage also appear. If that is your hyperlinks to your site are displayed in green so you define the link color in the AdSense ads with the same green color. The same applies to the AdSense text, even this should be the same color of the text.

Try using light grey for both your text and your Google Adsense ADS.

The Third - Tip #3

What is the most efficient AdSense format for use on your home page?

This point can not be quite so easy to define, because ultimately, the AdSense format also must somehow fit into your home page. With great certainty a less efficient AdSense format is the banner 468 x 60!!

This is because this format is the standard format of banner ads, and thus immediately recognized as an advertisement by most internet users.

As mentioned above, today's Internet users have added the banner format 468 X 60 in their memory and immediately recognize it as a banner, even if that includes text ads. Avoid if possible using this banner format in the installation of your AdSense on your site. As one of the most effective banner formats, the AdSense format 336 x 280 is proven to be more effective.

Properly configured and deployed, it is with this format on a homepage that you will see the greatest results. Most people don't filter this out and recognize this as advertising.

The Fourth Tip - # 4

Never build a website based soley on one niche and Adsense.
You should avoid all your Internet revenue being solely based on AdSense. Because what happens when Google internal business policy changes, or your account gets hijacked?

I've been reading a few forums and blogs about Google Adsense tips lately, and thought it would be helpful to consolidate as many as possible in one place without the comments. I've also thrown in a few tips of my own. We start out with some of the basic general stuff and move to the more specific topics later on.....

Build an Empire....?

When you're deciding to become a website publisher you will fall into one of two broad categories:

• Publish 100 websites that each earn $1 a day profit?
• Publish 1 website that earns $100 a day profit?

The reality of it is, most people end up somewhere in between. Having 100 websites does indeed leave with maintenance, management and content issues. But having one website also leaves you open to all sort of fluctuations (search engines algorithm's, market trends, etc).....

You can adapt your plan on the way, but you'll have an easier time if you start out going in the direction of where you want to end up.

• Would you rather start a soda vending machine business and maintain 100 vending machines everyday?

• Or would you rather work from the comfort of your home slowly growing and maintaining 100 websites?

It will take time but start with one build it and let it settle for a month or so while you continue creating niche based websites.

You will spend a minimal amount of money and lots of time getting started but.....would you pay $200 a month for 3 months learning a business that will pay you back your initial investment for a continued period of time?

I would happily pay $2000 for a few months to learn a business that could ultimately make me $2000 per month for the rest of my life.....

The secret that will make your AdSense revenues can double. There are ways in which your current AdSense revenue up to 100% or more can increase by a small but effective trick - even the pros use - for the design of your AdSense ads.........

Well ... Do I have your attention?

Tests on my websites have actually shown that this effect is not stunt his misguided and thus the turnover was substantially increase it.

Tip Fifth Tip - #5

Where should the AdSense units to be placed As mentioned above, it is most effective when the AdSense running on your home page text can be implemented.

".....The best so that the text will flow around the AdSense and thus creates a visual layout, as would the AdSense for content on your web site belongs....."

Tip ixth Tip - #6

Now I know how to improve my CTR but how can I improve my earnings? AdSense is one of the best tools you can use to draw dollars to your site. Remember that there is no easy way to make money on Adsense... it takes a lot of work.

".....You can start of by blocking low paying advertisers with Filters......"

Why to loose a visitor for 0.01 cents?

Use Overture or Google Adwords Keywords tool to discover keywords that are less popular with advertisers.

Tip #7 AdSense How many boxes can be placed on a website?

Google allows you to three ad units and one link unit per page. How many should you use?

"....Quite simply, everything you can. You are three ad units and an ad link unit. Provided of course that you have enough text on your home page, it is possible that not all units ads are filled with ads....."

Check after a few days to see whether all the Adsense ads are relevant. You know what AdSense ads bring the most revenue in you're niche.

"......In the Setup menu in Google AdSense, you have the possibility of using your AdSense channels units in groups to capture statistics. This provides Google with a little more focused way to know which groups AdSense better turnover and which are not as likely to be clicked...."

If you want to take things even further you can also...

• Discover what AdSense ads are clicked find the provider of the AdSense ads, or the website on which the advertisement, and find it even more possibilities and partner and sell affiliate products.

For example, if you notice that your Site visitors often ads to click on a particular topic would be also a product that you are on your site can offer, because it seems to be the case that your target audience to a need for this product.

So why not own the product offering as an affiliate and earn more margin than just a few cents with AdSense?

Some Brief History about me....

I've always been extremely eager to learn about all of the ways you can make money from the internet.

There are so many different ways to make money, I'll admit that it can get very overwhelming.

But, if you boil everything down into the one "thing" that is necessary to generate money online - "it comes down to how well you can generate "targeted" traffic to your website."

When I started online, way back in the early 2000s, I owned a aquariam supply related website.

I managed to get my website to the top of Google for the most competitive keywords in the world. Keywords like: salt water aquarium, aquarium supplies, wholesale aquarium supplies

I put ALOT of work into getting my website to the top of Google for those keywords. Why did I spend so much time and effort to try and rank highly for those keywords?

I'll tell you exactly why... Because I knew those keywords would send ALOT of traffic to my site. Back in the day, I thought...

Alot of traffic = Alot of sales.....!

WRONG........

I mean, heck, common sense would tell you that the more traffic you got to your website, the more sales you would make, right?

WRONG ... Back then, I, like most other people, thought that's the way it all worked, or I obviously wouldn't have spent to much time and effort on those keywords.

Let me explain....

While I did have #1 rankings for nearly every single major keyword related to the aquarium supplies industry and it was bringing in over 10,000 visitors to my dinky little website PER DAY, the conversion rate (i.e. the amount of sales I made per visitor) was ridiculously low.

I sold roughly 1 product for every 1,000 people that came to my site.

That's a .1% conversion rate. You heard me right, "point one percent".

If you don't know what a good conversion rate is, let me just say that you should never have below a 1 percent conversion rate, let alone a .1 percent. Getting 1,000 visitors to your site per day takes a heck of a lot of work....

".....If I had to do it all over again, I would NOT spend my time on such broad, competitive keyword phrases like: weight loss. ... only to have such a poor visitor value and very little return for my time and effort....."

I would spend my time ranking for, bidding on, and basing my entire business on keywords that are already 100% proven to convert visitors into buyers....

Because, let's face it, we want people to come to our website and BUY our stuff. We don't want people visiting our site if they're just going to leave, right....?

There are two major problems that online marketers have, and they are:

They focus on extremely broad keywords that just bring a lot of random traffic to their websites. They don't know how to properly research their market to find which people are buying what they're selling.

Because you've read up to this point, problem #1 should no longer be a sticking point for you. It can lead to a lot of extra work, with very little results.

"......In fact, in my case, it was downright depressing to have 10,000 daily visitors, only to make 10 sales a day. I had imagined that when the day came that I had 10,000 daily visitors, I'd be sitting on the beach somewhere, sipping margaritas :-) and that obviously didn't happen...."

So, at this point, the only problem that remains is not knowing how to properly research a market or niche, to find exactly which people are buying what you're selling.

Well, guess what......?

Even though it took me 3 years of my life to come to grips that in order to make a heck of a lot of money on the internet, you absolutely have to focus on very specific, targeted keywords...

I finally learned, and because of this, I've been able to help thousands of other achieve the type of online success I've been fortunate enough to have.

I want you to visit my website for more tips. l show you exactly which keywords you should focus on, to literally triple or more, the amount of money you make from your online business.

Great Tips: 6 Steps to Picking Profitable Adsense Keywords

Andi Wize shares to everybody this nice article:

Knowing how to find the best keywords for use in your Adsense ads is not a straightforward process. Finding and implementing high profit, low competition keywords in your ads really is the trick for making Adsense payoff big.

The following process should yield profitable, low competition keywords for your Adsense ads. This process is not perfect, but when you analyze it and try it for yourself, you can see that it makes sense. Adsense that is.

Step 1
Research some keywords for your niche that have a high CPC value. To do this, first find your keywords using the Google Adwords keyword tool or another tool that will give you niche specific lists of keywords. Save those keywords into a spreadsheet program as a csv file. Copy and paste those keywords into Google's Traffic Estimator (you will need an Adwords account). The traffic estimator will give you the estimated clicks per day and the average cost per click (CPC) for each keyword. Copy and paste this information back into your spreadsheet file for later reference.

Step 2
Multiply the average CPC by 30% to get an estimate of your maximum earnings per click. The higher the average CPC, the more likely the CPC for the 2nd - 8th positions are high as well. You want this higher average CPC to start because if the CPC starts to drop off significantly after the 3rd position, your chance of getting high click earnings as an Adsense publisher will be diminished.

Step 3
Use any one of many tools available on the internet for helping to estimate the 1st - 8th position CPC values. These tools will estimate the CPCs for each position and allow you to see how much the CPCs drop off after the first position. This dramatically helps your analysis for picking the most profitable keywords. If the CPC values stay close to the each other and to the value of the first position, then you will more than likely have a profitable keyword.

Step 4
Now determine which Adsense ads occupy which positions. You can do this by searching on Google for your keyword and looking to see which Adsense ads are generated in the search results and in which order they are. Another way to estimate this is to use the Adwords Accelerator tool. It has a feature whereby Adwords ads are dynamically displayed for a given keyword you input into the tool to check. If the Adwords advertiser has used "Adwords for Content" in his advertising, these ads will be the Adsense ads someone else is displaying on their website.

Step 5
Compare the ads you found in step 4 to the results of using a keyword check function tool (available on the internet). If the advertisers you find by doing this closely match those you found in step 4, you will more than likely have a profitable keyword.

If the advertisers are not he same, then the advertiser is possibly not using the "Adwords for Content" mode of advertising in his campaigns. This means that the keyword may not be the basis for the Adsense ads and may not be profitable.

Step 6
Now you must get the traffic. If you decide to get web traffic using the Adwords approach, then just use the keywords in your Adsense ads that scored well from the above evaluation. Then, use lower cost per click keywords in your Adwords ads. The difference between the earnings from the click you get on your Adsense word from the cost of the click you pay on your Adwords word will be your profit.

If you are planning to use search engine optimization techniques to get traffic to the website where your ads are, make sure the keywords you choose have the highest KEI possible. KEI is the ratio of the number of searches for a keyword to the number of competing sites having the keyword. The combination of a high KEI and a high score from the above evaluation will yield the best profit results.

Top 10 Adsense Don'ts

Don’t getting banned by Google! Marziah Karch gives us the tips!
Want to make money with Google AdSense for content? Here's a list of what not to do, unless you want to get banned. Google doesn't play around when it comes to click fraud. Click fraud loses Google money, and it loses AdWords customers money.
If you don't play by the rules, you may get a warning, you may get suspended, or you may just get banned.
1. Commit Google Don'ts
The first thing to avoid is any of the Google Don'ts. Cloaking, keyword stuffing, and title stacking are all ways to get banned from Google searches. They're also ways to get banned from AdSense.
When you place AdSense ads on your site, your site is far more visible to Google and it's much more likely that your rule breaking will be caught.
2. Click on Your Own Ads
No matter how tempting, never ever click on your own ads. This is probably the easiest way to get your site suspended or banned. It's a form of click fraud, and Google is very good at catching this, even if you think you're hiding your tracks.
Don't let anyone who uses any computer in your home click on your ads, either. Make sure your significant others and children are aware of the rules, or you could jeopardize your standing with Google.
3. Hide Your Ads
It might be tempting to hide your ads by making them the same color as your background or camouflaging them on areas with busy background images. You do still get paid for pageviews, so invisible ads would still pay, right? Don't even try it. This violates Google's Terms of Service, and it's easy to get caught.
Don't stuff your ads far below the rest of the content, either. Clicks pay better than pageviews, so it's to your advantage to have your ads prominent. Try to make the ads look like they belong on your page.
4. Beg for Clicks
Don't hold ad-click contests, beg, or even give big hints that people should click on your ads. They can ban you if they catch you begging for clicks anywhere on the Web, including pages that are totally unrelated to your AdSense pages.
Google also forbids labeling your ads with language stronger than "sponsored links." This is really for everyone's benefit. Pages that beg for clicks are usually not great reads, and pity clicks don't help the advertisers.
Note: It's fine to have contests on your Web site that aren't related to ad clicking or other rule breaking, such as "best photo" contests.
5. Alter the Code
AdSense generates javascript code that you can copy-and-paste directly into the HTML of your Web page. If you need to change the color or size of your ads, generate new code from AdSense.
Don't make changes to the code from your Web page editing program or tweak it by hand. If you put AdSense in Blogger, Google will generate the code for you from within Blogger.
6. Use Robots to Click on Your Site
Never use any sort of automated tool to inflate your page views or click on your ads. This is click fraud of the highest order, and Google is very sophisticated at catching this. This is a trick that can easily get you banned.
Likewise, don't use human-powered schemes to pay for clicks, either. No trading clicks with other AdSense users, and no pay-for-clicking schemes. If advertisers wanted to pay people for clicking, they would have signed up for it themselves.
7. Tell People How Much You Earn Per Click
Google is very picky about how much you disclose about how AdSense works. They don't let you tell people how much you were paid per keyword, because this could jeopardize revenue from AdWords advertisers. Beware of anyone who offers to sell you this information.
8. Make Pages Specifically to Display Ads
Google says you can't make pages simply to hang ads, "whether or not the page content is relevant." Many Web sites, including About.com, make money from ads. Google itself makes most of its money from advertising. What makes the difference between ad sponsored content and content for the sake of ads?
When you develop your site, your first thought should be about creating content, not ads. Avoid writing empty sentences for the sake of generating keywords, and avoid lengthy copy-and-pastes just to make more pages. Every page you publish should have a content-driven purpose.
9. Make Content About Taboo Topics
Google has a strict list of content standards, and they don't accept AdSense on pages that are violating them. These include, among other things, sites that promote or sell:
  • alcohol
  • certain weapons
  • firearms
  • tobacco
  • drugs
  • designer knock-offs
This is a silly rule to violate, because AdSense is keyword generated, so it's amazingly easy for you to get caught. If you do have content that violates these rules, such as a beer-making supply store, they may be legitimate sites, but AdSense is not for you.
10. Cheat in Any Other Way
This isn't by any means a comprehensive list.
I'm sure there are many ways to game the system that Google hasn't found out about... yet. There always are. AdSense is constantly changing to find new ways to detect click fraud, and eventually you will be caught.
The best way to generate income through AdSense is to create good content that is well optimized for search engines and to promote your site through legitimate channels.
That sounds like a lot of work, because it is a lot of work. However, it's a strategy that won't get you banned.

Adsense Tips, Layout Optimization Tricks for Higher CTR

Find the best tips from Digital Inspiration!
Google Adsense is perhaps the easiest way to attract advertisers from across the globe to your blog. Just submit your blog to Google for approval. If Google likes what it sees, it will place contextual ads linking to products likely to appeal to the readers. Each time a reader clicks a link, the advertiser pays Google a small fee, and Google splits that with you. The next interesting question - How to Make Money with Google Adsense ?
Here are The best Google Adsense Tips and Tricks for making more money (profit) from Google adsense program.
a. Strictly follow the rules mentioned in Adsense policies. You will always earn more revenue from Adsense by playing it clean.
b. Never modify the Google Adsense HTML code.
c. Don't ask your friends or visitors to click on your Google ads. Do not include incentives of any kind for users to click on ads. Don't label the Google ads with text other than "sponsored links" or "advertisements.".
d. Don't click on your own ads - Google is much smarter than you think. You should not reload your pages excessively. If you are testing your website layout with Google adsense, follow some precautions. Or you can use the unofficial Google Adsense Sandbox Tool that is accessible from Firefox, IE and other browsers to see what kind of Google ads will be served based on content (website address URL) or keywords.
e. Don't place ads in pop-up windows, error pages or even empty pages.
f. Don't start a "adsense asbestos" or "home equity loan rates" website merely to make money from accidental clicks (accidence). You will never make money out these "made-for-adsense-only" websites. Instead, write on topics what you are passionate about. Don't waste your money on high-paying adsense keywords lists.
g. For short articles, CTR is best when ads are placed just above the content
h. For long articles, CTR improves if ads are placed somewhere in middle of the content - visitors read the long content and then they are looking for more resources.
i. Use Text Ads instead of Image Ads as users get more options. If you still want to display image ads, consider ad formats that support image ads - Choose either the 300x250 medium rectangle or the 160x600 wide skyscraper - or both, if you display multiple ad units on a page.
j. Google Ads without background color and borders always perform better. Make the border color and background color same as your page background color.
k. Always put ads above the main fold. Make sure that the ad unit with the highest clickthrough rate is the first instance of the ad code that appears in the HTML. Since the first ad unit is always filled before the rest, you want to make sure that ad unit is located in the best placement on your page.
l. Try setting the ad link URL color to a lighter shade. If your text is black, you may make the adlink as light gray.
m. Go Wide - The large rectangle is the best paying adsense format (336x280) - The Google Adsense Publisher team also feels that the best formats are the wider ones - the ad formats that contain the widest individual ads. Try using the 336x280 large rectangle, 300x250 medium rectangle, or 160x600 wide skyscraper.
n. Placing images next to ads or above ads does help in attracting user attention.
o. Blend AdLinks with other navigation links or place horizontal adlinks at the top of your webpage. AdSense publishers are permitted to click on link unit topics on their web pages, provided that they do not click on any Google ads on the resulting page.
p. Organize an Adsense Party for your friends and colleagues - Request them to navigate your website, watch their activity - it will provide vital clues about which regions on your website draw more user attention. Try putting ads near those areas. (Thanks
Darren)
q. You can put upto 3 adsense units on a page. Try putting a large skyscraper on the right navigation sidebar of your website. That area is close to the browser scrollbar. You can also add 2 AdSense for search boxes, 1 adlink unit and 1 referral button per product (i.e., 1 AdSense referral button and 1 Firefox plus Google Toolbar referral button).
r. The first few lines of your content are an important factor for determining what Ads are served on your webpage. That's the right place to put keywords in bold (strong or tags) or header tags (h1, h2, etc).
s. Always select the setting to open Google Adsense search box results in a new browser window, so you won't lose your visitors. Click the Open search results in a new browser window checkbox and this add target="google_window" to your form tag.
t. Maximum people think the search box is on the top right corner. So you know where to put it.
u. Don't syndicate full content. If people can read everything from the newsreader window itself, why would they visit your website where your ads are.
v. Use URL channels to determine performance of individual pages. I track my most popular pages with Google Analytics, Statcounter and create a channel for each of the URL. You can even
track Adsense Clicks with Analytics
w. For low CTR pages, try changing titles or adding more content to get better focused ads
x. Block low paying advertisers with Filters. Why to loose a visitor for 0.01 cents. Use Overture or Google Adwords Keywords tool to discover keywords that are less popular with advertisers.
y. The AdSense for search Top Queries report shows you what your users are looking for, by listing the 25 most common searches conducted through your AdSense for search boxes. Use this report to identify additional topics to add to your site, or to keep track of your most sought-after information. Focus and improve that content.
z. Not everyone has a RSS reader. Use RSS to Email services like FeedBlitz, Bloglet or Rmail to let users subscribe to your blog by email.Remember, you are the best judge when it comes to choosing ad formats. Even Google doesn't offer the best advise always.
For instance, in the
visual heat map, Google suggests that webmasters are best served by positioning ads on the upper left-hand side of a Web page. But on the Google homepage, you will find ads on the far right.

Adsense Tools

Great adsense's tools from Gray Wolf. I hope you enjoy it!
Adsense Script Tools
These are the tiny little programs you install on your server (blech!) or locally on your machine that help you analyze your adsense clicks, CTR and earnings. Some of them are easy, some of them are difficult, and some of them help you make pretty graphs. To be honest none of them are worth recommending. You could do just as good a job by setting up your channels properly and dumping a CSV file into excel. If someone has a specific one or wants to send me a review copy of thier software, I will look at it. DO NOT send me anything that has to be installed on a server. I run multiple websites on multiple hosting companies, so I don’t need something that requires more maintenance thank you very much.

Adsense Preview Tools
The Adsense Sandbox comes via Digital Point. You put in a URL and it lets you preview what ads are most likely to appear on a URL. Pretty handy IMHO.

Adsense Tracking
While not set up to be an Adsense tracking tool per se, the
free log analyzer from AddFreeStats is actually pretty good. You put a small graphic tracking bug on the bottom of each of your pages and it gives you standard logging reports. You can also activate adsense tracking to find out what ads are being clicked on what pages. Combine this with an excel spreadsheet and channels and you are good to go. You can upgrade to a paid version and get an invisible tracking bug. TIP: Lock down your stats under a password, I’m fascinated how many people leave that open.

Adsense in Action
Probably one of the best things you can do to increase your adsense earnings is to go and look how other people are doing things. The
adsense case studies are one place. While these are Google approved you really don’t have an idea how successful they are. So you’d be much better off finding someone you know is in the UPS Club. Jason Calacanis who runs Weblogs Inc is on a quest to make 1 Million dollars a year from Adsense. While I do give Jason a hard time sometimes, I do actually admire what he’s built, and think there are some very valuable lessons to be learned from looking at the websites owns. Darren Rowse of ProBlogger also has two sites I really like the Digital Camera Review and Camera Phone Review. Don’t be a wanker and copy exactly what they’ve done, it’s bad form. Instead look at them, learn from them, and use it as inspiration.

Tips Adsense

Here is the best adsense tips from Webmaster:

1. Google's Heat Map really does work and deserves the full attention of those who've ignored it. It's really helped me improve my CTR. https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/static.py?page=tips.html&gsessionid=HyRs2QlabOI

2. When it comes to content, take the time write the best article you can. Don't write a bunch of rehashed garbage that's already been copied 100x before by lazier webmasters then you. Write something fresh and recent with new sources. Also, don't make the article short just because you don't like to write. Write until you've exhausted the subject. This will help you avoid duplicate content penalities, increase the stickyness to your site, and put out more 3,4,5, etc. keyword combinations that you can pick up traffic on.

3. Clear off the clutter, eye candy, bells and whistles and unnecessary links from each page. You want visitor's eyeballs to focus on 2 things: Your Content and Your Ads. Trimming the fat also reduces the low value places for visitors to go. You want them to either continue surfing your site or to exit through an ad. I've reduced the clutter and low value links off many of my pages which really helped my CTR and proved to be worth the time it took. One Final Note: I think it's okay for members to repeat tips as it validates the importance of such tips and shows some priority as to what publishers can focus on.

Just try ok!

ADSENSE OPTIMIZATION

1. Format is important for multiple ad unitsPlacing a skyscraper above the fold on the left side of your forum seems to produce slightly better performance than other positioning.

However, when using multiple ad units throughout the page our horizontal bias still favors the leaderboard. See the Forum Heat Map below for more details.

2. Display your ad units where repeat users will notice themA leaderboard at the very top fits nicely next to the logo, but forum regulars tend to skip the header and go straight to the meat of the thread. Placing your ad unit above or below the first post can be more effective.

3. Place a leaderboard immediately after the last postThis provides users who make it to the end of a thread with a ‘next step’ when the content ends. If you place it after the footer, though, folks will move to the next thread before they even see the ad!

4. Use horizontal link units Link units offer a wider range of relevant topics for users to browse. A horizontal unit can be placed near the top of your forum just below the header.

5. Opt-in to image ads Supporting image ads increases the pool of ads –particularly cost-per-thousand-impression (CPM) ads – bidding to display on your site. Since forums tend to have lower click-through rates (CTRs) than other types of sites, CPM ads can improve revenue without the need for clicks. Please remember, however, that CPM ads come in both text and image formats.

6. Be sensitive to your forum communityForums are highly interactive, so be sensitive to your users when implementing your AdSense ads. Be sure to blend the ads nicely, so they don’t appear overly intrusive – but don’t blend them so well they mislead your users! Every forum site is different and you know your community best, so as always use your own judgment to create the most positive experience for your users.
